Weston, CT – The Weston Public Library is thrilled to present a special free performance of the award-winning musical story “Green Golly & Her Golden Flute” on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at 1 PM at 56 Norfield Road, Weston, CT. Created by acclaimed performing artists Keith Torgan and Barbara Siesel, this enchanting show introduces children and families to the magic of classical music through humor, storytelling, and virtuosic flute playing. Inspired by the classic tale of Rapunzel, “Green Golly & Her Golden Flute” follows the adventures of Green Golly, a spirited young girl who, while locked in a tower, discovers the wonders of music.
With melodies by Mozart, Mendelssohn, Elgar, Schumann, and more, the show engages young audiences with laughter, imagination, and live music performed by world-class flutist Barbara Siesel and multi-talented storyteller Keith Torgan.
